Reservation & Booking
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a written or electronic confirmation from NHM Stays. Availability is subject to change until confirmation is issued. 

Identity

Valid government-issued photo ID required at check-in for all adult guests

Occupancy

Only registered guests may occupy the room. Unregistered visitors are not permitted overnight

Payment

Full payment or a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your room

Dates

Changes to booking dates are subject to availability and may incur additional charges

NHM Stays reserves the right to refuse or cancel a reservation if inaccurate information is provided during booking, or if the property determines that accepting the reservation would be in conflict with guest safety or property policy.

Guests who fail to vacate by the agreed check-out time without prior written approval may be charged an additional half-day or full-day rate at the prevailing tariff, at the sole discretion of NHM Stays management.  

Please note: NHM Stays is a stay-only property. Meals, room service, and kitchen access are not available. Guests are welcome to bring outside food to consume in their room.

Cancellation & Return Policy
NHM Stays understands that travel plans may change. Our return and refund policy is structured to be fair to both guests and the property.
Cancellation 7 or more days before check-in: Full refund of the amount paid, minus any applicable payment gateway or processing fees (typically 2–3%).
Cancellation 3–6 days before check-in: 50% refund of the total booking amount. The remaining 50% is retained as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation within 48 hours of check-in: No refund. The full booking amount is forfeited.
No-show: If a guest does not arrive on the booked date without prior notice, the full booking amount is forfeited and no refund is applicable.
Early departure: If a guest checks out before the reserved end date, no refund will be issued for the unused nights, unless the early departure is due to circumstances solely attributable to NHM Stays.
Force majeure or property-side cancellation: If NHM Stays must cancel a confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disaster, legal restriction, major maintenance), guests will receive a full refund or an offer to reschedule at no extra charge.  

Refund processing time: Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days. The time taken for funds to reflect in your account depends on
your bank or payment provider and may take additional days beyond this period.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to our official contact address. Verbal cancellation requests over the phone will not be accepted as valid. The date and time the written request is received by NHM Stays determines the applicable cancellation tier above.

Bookings made through third-party platforms (OTAs, travel agents) are subject to the cancellation policies of those platforms in addition to, or in place of, the above. Guests are advised to review the relevant platform’s policy at the time of booking.

Guest Conduct
NHM Stays is committed to providing a peaceful and comfortable environment for all guests. To maintain this standard, guests agree to the following:
Noise levels must be kept to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM (quiet hours).
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and enclosed areas of the property. A designated smoking area (if available) will be indicated at reception.
Pets are not permitted on the premises unless explicitly agreed in writing at the time of booking.
Any form of harassment, abusive or disruptive behaviour towards staff or other guests will result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.
Guests must keep their room secure. NHM Stays is not responsible for loss of personal belongings due to guest negligence.
NHM Stays reserves the right to ask any guest to vacate the premises without refund if their conduct is deemed harmful, offensive, or in breach of these terms.

Damages & Liability
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room, furniture, fixtures, or any part of the property during their stay. The cost of repair or replacement will be assessed and billed to the guest, and may be charged to the card or deposit held on file.

NHM Stays carries out regular maintenance and safety checks. However, NHM Stays shall not be held liable for:
Loss, theft, or damage to personal property left in rooms or common areas.
Injury arising from guest negligence or misuse of property facilities.
Disruptions or inconvenience caused by third parties, utility outages, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Guests are encouraged to use in-room safes (where available) and to purchase travel insurance to cover personal belongings and unforeseen circumstances.

Privacy & Data
NHM Stays collects and retains guest information (including name, contact details, identification documents, and payment information) as required by law and for the purpose of fulfilling your reservation.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Guest data may be shared with government or law enforcement authorities where required by applicable Indian law (including under the Foreigners Act, 1946, and local police verification rules).

By making a booking, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our privacy practices and applicable data protection regulations.

Disclaimer
NHM Stays makes reasonable efforts to ensure that room descriptions, images, and tariff information displayed on our website and booking channels are accurate. However, we do not warrant that such information is entirely free of errors or omissions. Room layouts, amenities, and pricing are subject to change.

NHM Stays shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damages arising from your stay or from reliance on information provided on our platforms, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing Law & Disputes
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with a booking or stay at NHM Stays shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the city where the property is located.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, guests agree to first raise the matter directly with NHM Stays management to seek an amicable resolution.
